Albion nominated in Sports Business Awards

Club in contention in two categories at ceremony later this year.

Albion will be supporting the Rainbow Laces campaign on Sunday.

Albion have been nominated in two categories at the Sports Business Awards, which are due take place in London later this year.

Albion in the Community are one of six nominations for the Best Club CSR or Community Scheme, and among the other nominees are the community schemes run by Everton, Leicester City, Southampton and West Ham United. The club have been nominated for its Rainbow Laces awareness campaign in November and December. 

The club have also been nominated in the Best Sports Club / Best Event Hospitality for its work in creating The Dugout at the Amex.

The Dugout was introduced at the start of the season and was completely sold out. It provides a more casual hospitality perspective on the matchday experience. Limited to just 40 places, guests enjoy a buffet-style food offering before taking their seats just behind the home dugout.

The Sports Business Awards recognises the outstanding off-pitch achievements of those working behind the scenes in sport. This year’s event is scheduled to take place in December.
