Andrew Crofts celebrates his goal against Watford at the Amex in 2013.

When was your first game? What was the score? What can you remember about the game?

Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Watford, Championship 27th October 2013.

Before entering the stadium, I purchased a beanie hat and scarf to officially be a Brighton supporter and taking advantage of the club shop’s ‘Fright Night’ offers. I still wear them to this day.

The game’s biggest talking point was Watford’s disallowed goal even though it showed on the TV screens that the ball had crossed the line which would have doubled their lead. We played it to our advantage and Andrew Crofts scored to draw level at 1-1 which was the final score.

After that game I asked my parents if I could go and watch another Brighton game as I really enjoyed it.

Who was your first Albion idol?

Jake Forster-Caskey - I liked the way he played and he scored some good goals. He was deservedly called up to play for the England under-21 squad.

What is your favourite Albion game and why?

Millwall 2 Brighton 2 - FA Cup, 17th March 2019.

Without a doubt the most dramatic Brighton game to date for me. The lads put on a fantastic comeback from 2-0 down to level 2-2 and take it into extra time. Penalty shootouts are undoubtedly nervous moments as all the hard work could count for nothing.

I still believed we could win even when Glenn Murry hit the woodwork! Knowing how good Matty Ryan is, he showed his strengths as he saved Millwall’s penalty with his foot before Millwall collapsed and put their final penalty over the bar. Albion won 5-4 on penalties.

The emotion in the away stand is something I will never forget knowing we were on our way to Wembley. I wouldn’t mind reliving it again by watching the full match!

Which season stands out as your favourite?

2017-18, as it was our first season in the Premier League and I have some fond memories and had great away day trips.

Which are your favourite Albion home and away shirts?

Home shirt 2017-18 as I liked the blue on the shoulders.

Away shirt 2015-16, nicknamed ‘Volt’, I liked how bright the shirts were.

What is your all-time Albion XI?

Matty Ryan, Bruno, Lewis Dunk, Shane Duffy, Fikayo Tomori, Anthony Knockaert, Pascal Gross, Jake Foster-Caskey, João Teixeria, Tomer Hemed, Glenn Murray.
