Graham Potter has spoken about the potential changes to his job as head coach should the 2019/20 Premier League season resume behind closed doors.
Asked how a return to action would look and feel from the boss’s perspective, he pointed to the obvious lack of a crowd as being one of many things coaches and their staff would need to get used to.
“The job hasn’t changed but how you do it will do because of all the external factors and circumstances have altered,” he said.
“There will be no crowd in the stadium, so how you interact and support the players is different. It might make it easier to get a message across to someone now – at least they’ll be able to hear me better.
“Sometimes the crowd blocks me out, but that’s something we have to think about now and it changes how you do the job.
“My role is to help the players in the best way we can and get the best possible result.”
