Albion have confirmed that supporters can claim a refund on a significant portion of 2020/21 season-tickets or 1901 Club memberships.

Club staff have spoken to 2,063 supporters with owner Tony Bloom and chief executive Paul Barber among 80 staff members making calls

Sarah Gould, the club’s Supporter Services Manager, said, “We have called 2,063 supporters in the last couple of weeks which is fantastic!

“Eighty staff have participated across the club and Albion in the Community including Andrew Crofts, Guy Butters and Danny Cullip. We’ve got 685 supporters out of that list who will receive follow-up calls at their request in the next few days.

“Some of our fans have been diagnosed with Covid-19 and we have helped to assist in obtaining food and prescriptions for some supporters. Certainly, from the calls I have done, it seems lots of people are missing the club and visiting the Amex.”

Sarah herself has made 156 calls while retail assistant Lexie Marchland has called 251 supporters and receptionist Jo Goddard 125.

“It has been a brilliant effort by everyone involved and I know it is really appreciated by our elderly supporters," added Sarah.

"We will continue to do this and try to help in some small way to make life a bit easier for our fans at this difficult time.”
