Albion head coach Graham Potter.

Albion were 15th with 29 points from 29 games when the season was halted on 14th March.

Reflecting on the campaign so far the head coach said, “We have made a decent start in terms of how the playing style looks and how we want to play our football.

“We have integrated some players from the Championship or lower, like the Belgian League for example.

“We have used a couple of guys from the academy, so we have gone through a process of change. We had a disappointing few weeks at the start of the year in terms of results. There have been a lot of draws that we need to turn into wins.

Barber & Potter press conference

“But I think we have had a clarity in terms of how we want to go forward and what it will look like in the future. We are all really positive in terms of the steps we have made and where we need to improve.

“I knew there would be pain along the way, that there would be mistakes with good moments and not so good moments. We have changed the playing style quite significantly from a team that had 36 points last season.

“But everyone is clear about working together and what we want to do. When things get back to normal, we can start to act on those things.”
