We are working on a number of initiatives alongside Albion in the Community to provide learning resources, with our sports science department to come up with exercise plans, and also planning some fun, family activities.

To help support parents, the Premier League have made their curriculum-linked resources here available to all, not just teachers, for home learning, with no registration required.

These online Premier League Primary Stars resources will cover English, Maths, Physical activity and Health and Wellbeing for five to 11-year-olds.

There will be fun activities to keep children active and learning at home. To kick off your at-home activity, why not try out these two games?

  • Solve, Shoot, Score - An interactive football themed game with quick-fire maths and spelling questions
  • Stick with Maths - Try our bite-size maths puzzles, using data from Premier League football stickers (ages 8 to 11)

More information and links on how the Premier League can help you educate and entertain your children at home will follow soon.

Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

The programme website hosts teaching materials that cover topics from PE and teamwork to English and Maths, with free to download activities, worksheets, lesson plans, fun assemblies and exclusive educational videos.

Keep an eye on our website this week, as we will have shamelessly borrowed Richard Osman’s World Cup idea and are launching an Albion World Cup of Goals – where you can vote for the best Albion goal – and also Manchester City’s goal re-creation idea, under the hashtag #jumpersforgoalposts alongside this.
