The Seagulls battled to a deserved point in a 0-0 draw against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men at Molineux and could feel slightly unlucky not to come away with all three points after a goalless draw.

The Dutch midfielder praised the application of his teammates and the qualities they showed.

He said, “It was a hardworking performance with some really good chances in the second half.

“If we maintain these levels then we’ll be okay this season if we show the same level of determination.

“They’ve had a good season and we managed the game well against strong opposition.”

Propper's Wolves reaction

Arsenal are next up in a week's time at the Amex, and Propper believes that today’s display will give the team plenty of encouragement heading into the final nine games of the season.

“It’s about turning draws into wins, and to do that we have to continue to do what we’ve done today," he added.

“It’ll give us a lot of confidence going forward and there’s a lot to build on.

“The lads who came on gave us good energy at the right moments in the game and created some dangerous openings. We’ll need everyone in every game between now and the end of the campaign.”
