Maty Ryan is convinced one win can get Albion’s season back on track as they prepare for Saturday’s Premier League trip to sixth-placed Wolves.

The Seagulls head to Molineux in 15th place but with just three points separating five clubs down to Aston Villa in 19th. The teams shared four goals at the Amex earlier in the season.

Ryan acknowledges that the pressure is on, but he is confident Albion have what it takes to secure their Premier League survival in the final ten games.

He said, “You go through bad patches of form as individuals and teams, but all it takes is one game to rectify that and for all that noise to quieten down.

“Luck is not going to get us the results we need, we have to work hard to change things and that is one thing this group will do. The focus is on getting a result against Wolves.”

Albion have to play seven of their last ten games against teams currently in the top half of the table, but Ryan does not think league positions will count for a great deal in the closing weeks of the campaign.

“Over the course of a season you don’t beat teams around you, you can also beat teams above - that’s just the way this League goes and we have shown that ourselves this season," he added.

“Whoever we’re up against we just have to focus on what we can do as individuals to help bring and then maintain the collective performance that is going to give us the best chance to win the game. That’s the focus for Saturday and every game after Wolves.

"Until the final whistle of the last game of the season it’s going to be hard work, but we’ll do whatever we can to get the results we need.”
