The duo went along with Gully to Dorothy Stringer for the half-term soccer school to promote the upcoming milestone.
Republic of Ireland international Jarrett said, “It’s a great showcase for the women’s game. You could see the record attendance and number of people viewing the games on TV when the World Cup was in France last summer.
“Fans will be able to see some of the best players, not only in Europe but in the world, on their doorstep.
“Having these games here makes it a lot easier for young girls to aspire to be professionals and to play for their country, as well as Brighton & Hove Albion.”
Netherlands international Kerkdijk added, “If I look back when the Euros were held in the Netherlands, it changed the world for us.
“A lot of girls saw that it’s possible to play in full stadia, and I hope that it’s going to be exactly the same in England.
“It will be a really good experience for the fans, and a great opportunity for them to take a day trip to go out to one of these games.”
Brighton & Hove was chosen as a host city following a bid by Brighton & Hove City Council, Brighton & Hove Albion and the Sussex County Football Association.
The first game played at Brighton & Hove Community Stadium will be on 12th July, with others on 16th and 21st, giving fans an opportunity to see some of the world’s best players in action. The final will be staged at Wembley Stadium on 1st August.
