The Iranian scored his second goal in as many games when Lewis Dunk’s header was met inside the box with a spectacular overhead kick, which flew past Kepa Arrizabalaga into the bottom right-hand corner.
It summed a memorable five days for the winger, who had scored his first goal for the club in a 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth on 28th December with a strike after just two minutes and 29 seconds.
That was the club’s fastest-ever Premier League goal, as the 26-year-old lashed a right-footed shot past Aaron Ramsdale into the bottom right-hand corner.
