Jack Grealish’s second-half strike gave the Villans a share of the spoils, but Trossard felt Albion should have taken more from a dominant display in the first half.
He said, “We were in full control and had some chances to score a second, but we were a bit sloppy. Sometimes you can see it’s a tough league and every opponent can be dangerous.
“They didn’t create a lot, but they scored from the only counter-attack they had. We have to learn to kill the game and to keep a clean sheet.
“Personally, you’re always happy if you score and help the team. It was a very good moment, but it was a shame that we gave those points away.”
Attention now turns to Tuesday’s game against AFC Bournemouth, and the Belgian highlighted the importance of getting three points at the Vitality Stadium.
“We have another game on Tuesday and will put in everything to get a victory. We will try our best in every game,” he added.
“In general our recent performances have been good. Tuesday is another important game and we will put everything in to get a victory.”
