Jahanbakhsh gave Albion a well-deserved share of the spoils with a spectacular overhead kick in the 83rd minute, and the Iranian is thrilled to see his hard work paying off.
He said, “It was the best goal of my career, but we will have to see if it becomes the goal of the season, as there will be a lot of good goals out there.
“When I found out I was going to play in the last game, I had a good feeling because I had been training well. I had a feeling that I could have an impact in this game too, and when Dunky gave me that ball, I tried to hit it as hard as possible. The only way to connect with it was just to bicycle kick it, and it went in the right direction.
“It’s a great feeling to be involved in such important games and I’ve been working hard to get my chance. It’s been a very tough time for me, but I’m very glad to turn it around in a great game."

Meanwhile, Neal Maupay felt that a point was the least Albion deserved for their efforts, and the Frenchman reflected on a dominant display against the Blues.
“It’s a massive point for us, as I thought that we played very well. We fought until the end and I’m very happy for the team and for Ali after an amazing goal.
“I thought we controlled the whole game and they scored from a corner. We had more chances to score, but they are a good team as well with good players, so we’re happy with a point.
“Every draw and win is a massive step for us to stay in the league. We’ve got a cup game at the weekend, but now we need to recover and be ready.”
