Bah humbug! Business as usual says Potter

Graham Potter did his best Ebenezer Scrooge impression when he looked ahead to the congested Christmas programme, which sees Albion play twice in 48 hours.

Graham Potter speaks to the media ahead of Thursday's game.

On Boxing Day the Seagulls head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hoping to complete the double over Spurs following the 3-0 win at the Amex on Boxing Day before entertaining AFC Bournemouth on 28th December.

But it’s the same routine for the head coach, his coaching staff and players.

He said, “It’s a bit dull I know but it’s business as usual.

"We had our Christmas Lunch last week, so with Premier League games on Boxing Day and Saturday it is bah humbug as far as I’m concerned!”

The squad will train on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas Day morning before heading to London in the evening ahead of the 12.30pm kick off at Tottenham on Boxing Day.

“We will train on Christmas Day a bit earlier than usual, so I don’t have to cook Christmas Dinner!” joked the head coach.

“The players can then have some time at home with their families then we travel to London in the evening.”
