Aaron Connolly is fit and back for selection for Saturday's game with Sheffield United.

Neal Maupay’s third goal in as many Premier League games looked like it would be enough for the Seagulls to beat Crystal Palace on Monday night in front of the Sky Sports cameras. The Frenchman showed fantastic composure inside the box to grab his seventh goal of the campaign with a superb finish into the top corner, that flew past Vicente Guaita in the home goal.

Albion had dominated proceedings at Selhurst Park up until Wilfried Zaha’s 76th minute equaliser, which meant that the spoils were shared with Roy Hodgson’s men in a 1-1 draw.

Sheffield United come into Saturday’s game following a 2-0 home win over Aston Villa last time out. John Fleck's second-half brace gave the Blades all three points, and they occupy seventh position ahead of this weekend’s contest on the south coast.

Team news...

Graham Potter confirmed that Aaron Connolly has trained this week and will be fit and available for selection after recovering from injury, while Dale Stephens also returns from his one-game suspension. The only two absentees for the game on Saturday will be Solly March and Jose Izquierdo.

He said, "Aaron Connolly should be ready for the weekend, he's trained this week. We have no other problems from Monday and of course Dale Stephens back too. It's just Solly March and Jose Izquierdo out."

Chris Wilder’s men will be without the suspended John Fleck on Saturday, he is the only absentee for the Yorkshire side.

The Sheffield United player to watch…

Sheffield United striker Lys Mousset.

Lys Mousset has fired five goals so far in the Premier League this term following his £10m switch from AFC Bournemouth in July. The Frenchman got off the mark in a 2-0 away win to Everton at Goodison Park back in September. He then notched in back-to-back games with Arsenal at Bramall Lane and then away to West Ham United in October.

Mousset would then find the back of the net in consecutive games again last month, getting on the scoresheet in a 3-3 home draw with Manchester United and scoring after just two minutes into a 1-1 draw with Wolves at Molineux. He's one to keep an eye on this weekend on the south coast.
