Matchday presenter Richie Reynolds and former Seagulls defender Guy Butters were on hand to give out the prize to Elaine, who was recognised by her son Joe for continuing to be an inspiration to him and those around her despite suffering from depression.
“I’ve nominated my mum because she’s been through a lot and deserves something special, explained Joe.
“As it’s a meal for two, there might be an invite for me on there, you never know! Although it might need to be more than a meal for two if I’m there!” added Guy after presenting the prize.
