Albion legend makes a special hospital visit

Albion legend Bobby Zamora granted a memorable Christmas wish for Josh Bray last week, with a very special hospital visit.

Bobby Zamora made a very special hospital visit as part of Albion's Christmas Wish campaign.

The former Seagulls striker was hoping to surprise Josh with tickets to the Wolves game, but because he was not being well enough to attend, Josh will now watch Graham Potter put the players through their paces at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre thanks to club sponsor Monster Energy.

“The idea was to take you to the game, but unfortunately you’re not feeling too well and the doctors have said to keep you in the hospital for the time being, but when you feel better we’re going to take you down to the training ground to watch training, meet the players and meet the manager,” explained Bobby to Josh.

Christmas Wish: Bobby visits Josh

“I wasn’t expecting that, and I was very surprised and speechless,” Josh added. “I still am to be honest!”

Charlotte, who nominated her brother Josh for the wish, said, “I’m not going to ask him if I can go on the tour, I’m going to tell him!

“There’s no other option there, but I think he’ll be okay with it!”

As well as being invited for a training ground tour, Josh was also presented with a shirt signed by the Albion first-team squad and received an impromptu phone call from Steve Sidwell.
