Mia Brown was treated to a special coaching session.

Mia, who plays for her local team in Peacehaven, was treated to a session with women’s first-team goalkeeper Megan Walsh and goalkeeper coach Alex Penny.

“The wish was to do a training session with Megan and the goalkeeper coach here,” her dad Chris Brown explained.

“She’s been a goalkeeper for six months and has been doing absolutely fantastically, after playing for our local team in Peacehaven.”

The day was topped off for Mia when Maty Ryan came in late on in the session to present the young keeper with an Albion goalkeeping shirt, prompting an emotional reaction from Chris!

“When Maty Ryan came in, I had a bit of a lump in my throat. It means absolutely everything and it summed up a fantastic day!”
