Dawn was nominated by her friend Lisa Offord for the wish, and both were treated to a tour of the club’s training ground, before meeting Graham Potter and receiving a signed shirt from all the players!
“Dawn has had a really tough time of it over the past few years and unfortunately lost her husband at the start of this year on her birthday,” Lisa explained.
“I thought she deserved a treat, so we wanted to try this and see what happened. Luckily enough, she got picked. I was shocked when I found out what the club were planning to do, and once I told Dawn, she burst into tears! It was a lovely moment.”
Dawn admitted she was ‘blown away’ by all that the club had done for her, in what was a memorable and very emotional day.
“I’ve been supporting Brighton since I was ten years old when they were playing at The Goldstone, and had a season ticket at the Amex since it was built too.
“When Lisa phoned me to say she’d won this competition, I wasn’t able to talk for a while, and the day itself was amazing.

“I was totally blown away by everything, and it’s a bit like a Tardis because you don’t realise how big it is inside! It’s a fantastic place.
“The tour was brilliant, and we had a great guide. Receiving the signed shirt just finished it off. To get all of this as well as a picture, was incredible.”
