This allows the League to take into account the outcome of UEFA’s knockout draws, before they allocate Premier League fixtures accordingly within the mid-season break.
The draws for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 and UEFA Europa League Round of 32 will be conducted on Monday 16th December.
Meanwhile, the mid-season player break will see all 10 fixtures of match round 26 played across the weekends of 7th-10th February and 14th-17th February.
As a result, the on-sale dates for the home matches against Watford and Crystal Palace, that are currently scheduled for Saturday 8th February and Saturday 29th February respectively, will now be moved.
The Watford game will go on sale to members on 23rd December, the 27th December for season-ticket holder guests, and on general sale from 30th December.
The same first two purchasing windows apply for the Palace match, but this fixture will go on sale to those with a purchase history on 30th December at two tickets each.
