The Seagulls will be aiming to respond to last weekend's defeat on home soil against the Foxes. Potter's men fell to a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United in their last Premier League outing on the road, and were on the scoresheet thanks to Lewis Dunk's first goal of the season - the defender is back in the fold for the contest this weekend on Merseyside having served a one-match suspension last Saturday.

This weekend’s opposition drew 1-1 with Napoli on Wednesday evening, with Dejan Lovren's second half goal cancelling out Dries Merterns' opener at Anfield. In the league, Jurgen Klopp's men were 2-1 winners over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last weekend thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Team news...

Graham Potter has confirmed that the Seagulls may be without Solly March for the game this weekend at Anfield, with the midfielder feeling some tightness in his groin this week.

But there was positive news regarding Aaron Connolly, who has been training with the first team squad ahead of the match on Saturday.

In his pre-match press conference, the head coach said, "We've got Solly March who has a bit of tightness in his groin so he's doubtful at the moment for the weekend.

"Aaron Connolly is back in the squad and training now too, Bernardo got his first 45 minutes last night [Wednesday] but Saturday will come a bit too soon for him."

This weekend’s hosts will be without Brazilian midfielder Fabinho through suspension.
