Albion players celebrate Victoria Williams's goal against London Bees.

Following a 4-0 defeat against Manchester United last weekend, Powell will be hoping that her side can recapture the form of their last home match against Birmingham City, where the Seagulls were deserved 3-0 winners at the Amex Stadium.

Kayleigh Green scored a brace alongside a Lea Le Garrec 20-yard thunderbolt, and the team will be looking for more of the same in the clash at The People’s Pension Stadium.

Reading will head into the match full of confidence following their 3-2 victory over West Ham United on Sunday. After trailing 1-0 heading into the break, Rachel Rowe was shown a red card just before half time, before Louise Kiernan added a second goal for the Hammers on 65 minutes.

The Royals then pulled off an unlikely comeback with goals from Kristine Leine, Brooke Chaplen and Jade Moore in the final 15 minutes to seal all three points.
