The 21-year-old came onto the pitch as a 73rd-minute substitute to replace former Chelsea man Juan Cuadrado during the friendly, which took place in Miami.

Alzate was on the pitch when La Tricolor scored a late stoppage-time winner, that came courtesy of Alfredo Morelos’s strike.

Fellow Premier League players that also featured in the game for Colombia included: Yerry Mina (Everton), Davinson Sanchez (Tottenham Hotspur) and Jefferson Lerma (AFC Bournemouth).
