Albion host the Vixens at The People’s Pension Stadium following back-to-back defeats against Arsenal and West Ham United, and Green challenged the side to show their inner strength to get the right result at the weekend.
She said, “I always enjoy the battle. You never step into a game thinking you’re the underdogs or that you’re going to win.
“Every game is different and we stepped into the Chelsea one where everybody felt good, which translated to us getting a positive result.
“Going into the Bristol game, we are confident of starting a winning streak. We have had two back-to-back losses, but know how important it will be to get a win heading into the Everton game next Sunday.”

The striker spoke about the overall improvement of teams in the league and said it’s up to Albion to keep pace with the sides that have strengthened.
“From the back end of last season, the teams that were at the bottom are now sitting in mid-table. You see that with Everton, who have had a great start to the season, but we’re only four games in.
“Anything can change, but it’s more competitive and teams have brought a lot more players in. It’s a lot stronger now and it’s about trying to be on your game.”
The Wales forward also spoke about the importance of the club’s growing fan base, and is relishing the prospect of playing in front of a large crowd when the team hosts Birmingham City in another Amex fixture on 17th November.
“The fans are massively important to us, and it’s great that we’re getting more and more people to come out and support us.
“They’re driving us on and we’ve seen how many more fans are cheering us on at Crawley. When you hear that support, it just gives us that bit more of a push.
“To be able to play at the Amex again is another fantastic opportunity for all of us. We want to get the numbers behind us because it can be quite daunting for an opposition team playing there, and we want to use that to our advantage.”
