The hugely-popular former Albion defenders will be at The Bull in Ditchling from 7pm and tickets are available for just £5.

The evening will be hosted by Dominic Worrall, the Seagulls-supporting owner of The Bull, and will include a question and answer session with fans.

Butters and Cullip clocked up more than 200 appearances each for the Seagulls, were both named Player of the Season during their time at the club, and memorably featured alongside each other in the 2004 Play-off Final win against Bristol City.

They now work full-time for AITC, coaching and mentoring young players on the charity’s post-16 football and education programme.

Butters said the pair were really looking forward to Thursday. He said, “Danny and I have great memories of our time at the club and always enjoy having the chance to meet Albion fans.

“We’re both incredibly proud to now work for Albion in the Community, so to be able to combine an event like Thursday with raising money for the charity is brilliant.”

Thursday night’s event is the latest in a string of initiatives from The Bull in support of AITC, and the pub has now raised more than £5,000 for the charity.

Tickets must be booked in advance, either in person at The Bull, online at: https://thebullditchling.com/event-tickets/ or by calling 01273 843147.

The Bull is in High Street, Ditchling (BN6 8TA).

All money raised will help support AITC’s vital work across Sussex.
