Albion announce Montefiore Hospital deal

Brighton & Hove Albion are thrilled to announce that The Montefiore Hospital in Hove, part of Spire Healthcare, will be working alongside the club’s medical department to assist with provisions for the women’s and girls’ academy teams throughout the 2019/20 season.

Albion have agreed a deal with The Montefiore Hospital in Hove.

Albion’s business development executive, Steph Punfield, said, “After liaising closely with our medical team and Gavin Weal, the business development manager at The Montefiore Hospital, we’re confident that this move will further enhance the support given to the teams, and very much look forward to working with a local provider.”

The Montefiore Hospital’s managing director, David Eglington, commented, “It is great to be supporting Brighton & Hove Albion, and to contribute towards their journey to establish themselves in the Women’s Super League.”

The hospital's business development manager, Gavin Weal, added, “We are especially proud to be supporting the women’s team as the excitement and interest for the game continues to grow.”

The Montefiore Hospital provides high-quality treatments and services for all of its patients, and are proud to be rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in their most recent inspection.
