The 21-year-old dominated the voting polls to take home the prize, following a string of eye-catching performances for the Yorkshire club, who currently occupy third position in England’s second tier.
White has played every minute of the Championship season so far, helping Leeds to three clean sheets and four victories, while also featuring twice in the Carabao Cup.
The defender finished with 44% of the vote, beating Swansea City’s Borja Baston, who finished in second place with 16%, and Charlton Athletic’s Lyle Taylor, who finished third with 15%.
White will return to action for Marco Bielsa’s side after the international break, when they take on Barnsley at Oakwell, before hosting Derby County at Elland Road.
