INTERNATIONAL AGE GROUP SQUADS
After making his Premier League debut against Manchester City on Saturday, Aaron Connolly turns his attention to the international stage for Republic of Ireland under-21s’ forthcoming European Championship qualifiers against Armenia and Sweden.
He will be joined in the same squad by Jayson Molumby, and the duo could come face-to-face with Viktor Gyokeres, who has been named in Sweden’s under-21 squad for their match against Ireland.
Elsewhere, there is international tournament action for Haydon Roberts with England’s under-18s, while goalkeeper Tom McGill has been named in the under-20 squad for their friendlies against the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Kayleigh Green featured for 74 minutes for Wales in their 6-0 win over the Faroe Islands last Thursday, as Jayne Ludlow’s side began their UEFA Women’s Euro 2021 qualification campaign in perfect fashion. Attention now turns to their second qualifier against Northern Ireland on Tuesday in Newport.
Elsewhere, Megan Connolly will link up with the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of their opening UEFA Women’s Euro 2021 qualifier against Montenegro on Tuesday at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.
