Simon Rusk’s side began the 2019/20 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, but a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal followed, which currently leaves the team in fourth position.

Aaron Connolly — last season’s PL2 Player of the Season — didn’t take long to get off the mark, scoring twice against Wolves on the opening day, and no doubt the Irishman will be looking to build on his positive start this evening.

Ryan Longman came off the bench to halve the deficit late on against Arsenal last Friday, and the winger, who has fully moved into the under-23 group this season, will be pushing for a place in Rusk’s starting line-up.

The Foxes have taken two points from their opening two matches of the season — they drew 0-0 with reigning PL2 champions Everton before a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.
