International Call-ups For Albion Women Players

Several Brighton & Hove Albion women’s team players have been called up by their respective nations for the upcoming international break.

Goalkeeper Marie Hourihan has been included in Colin Bell’s 20-player Republic of Ireland squad for their friendly against Belgium on Sunday 20th January.

Laura Rafferty will link up with Northern Ireland for a training camp from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th January.

After qualifying for this summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, Nigeria have called up Ini Umotong for a Four Nations tournament match against China in the Far East.

Ellie Brazil and Chloe Peplow make up part of the England under-21 squad who will attend a training camp at St George’s Park.

Development Squad player Sophia Pharoah has been named in the England under-19 team to play in the Algarve Tournement, where the team will take on Portugal and Norway.
