Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-18s recorded their biggest win of the season to date with a 4-0 win away at Norwich City.

Ben Wilson’s brace and a goal each from Kaspa Lopata and Laurent Tolaj sealed an emphatic victory over the Canaries.

Albion took the lead with just seven minutes played, as Cameron Tutt cut the ball back to Wilson, who took one touch and fired in a left-footed finish past Norwich keeper Daniel Barden.

It was 2-0 in the 14th minute after Tareiq Shihab scooped a high ball into the box, which Lopata headed onto Wilson, and the latter scored with a brilliant back-heeled volley to double Albion’s advantage.

The Seagulls had a third just three minutes later after Barden spilled Stefan Vukoje’s free kick into the path of Lopata, and the defender fired home from close range.

Wilson could’ve made it 4-0 after being picked out by Tutt, but he fired his effort over the bar from 12 yards out.

Albion continued to press forward, as Luka Cocoracchio drove forward with the ball and fed in Wilson, but the latter’s strike was parried away by Barden.

There was still time for one more chance in a dominant first-half display, as Vukoje’s shot narrowly missed the bottom right-hand corner after being played through on goal.

The dominant performance continued after the break, as Wilson hooked in a cross towards Vukoje, who teed up Tolaj, but the latter’s half volley sailed over the bar
from 10 yards out.

The Seagulls got a fourth goal which their dominance deserved with 84 minutes played, as Antef Tsoungui drove forward and played a through ball onto Tolaj, who fired into the bottom corner.
