Albion Players, Manager And Coaches Set To Enjoy Boxpark Hq After Semi-final Clash!

By Paul Camillin • 29 March 2019

Brighton & Hove Albion players and management are set to join fans post-match at the club HQ at Wembley on FA Cup semi-final day.

Chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber explained, “Fans have been asking us if the players would be attending Boxpark after the game. The thinking behind hiring this great venue was so that as many people as possible connected to our club could be together on the day.

“We’re really looking forward to over 1,000 fans joining the club’s directors, staff, players, friends and families, sponsors and commercial partners for some great fun, music, and Albion-focused entertainment, not to mention the availability of some great food and drink.”

“Our marketing and production teams have worked with Boxpark’s staff to create a fantastic Albion-themed look and feel to the venue, both inside and out, and with the players and coaches set to join us after the match, it’s going to be a great event whatever the result on the day.”

Meanwhile, former midfielder, coach and manager Dean Wilkins, who gave more than 25 years’ service to the club, over three different spells, is the latest legend to accept the club’s invite to visit Albion HQ on semi-final day.

Wilkins, the last Albion player to score at Wembley in the 1991 Play Off Final, will join the already confirmed club legends Alan Mullery, Steve Sidwell, Guy Butters, Andy Rollings, Gordon Smith and Stuart Storer, all of whom will be interviewed on the stage alongside a Q+A with chairman, Tony Bloom.

As well as the attendance of several Albion legends, Skint Records DJ Andy Mac and Jason Phats of Phats & Small fame, will be performing before and after the match respectively.

General admission pre-match spaces for Albion HQ at Boxpark have already sold out, although a limited number of post-match spaces are still on sale together with all-day hospitality spaces (details below). We expect those remaining post-match spaces to sell out very quickly.

Fans are therefore advised to move fast to secure their places for access to Albion HQ post-match via BrightonAndHoveAlbion.com/Tickets. Fans can purchase provided they have already purchased a semi-final match ticket, by logging on and selecting the Wembley Boxpark option.
