Brighton & Hove Albion under-18s made it three league wins in a row with a 2-0 success over Fulham on Saturday at Motspur Park.

Headers from Danny Cashman and Laurent Tolaj sealed another big three points for Mikey Harris and Mark Beard’s men, as they moved up to sixth in the U18 Premier League South table in the process.

Roco Rees was called into action early on in the contest when he had to make himself big to deny Jean-Pierre Tiehi, who had got onto the end of Connor McAvoy’s ball over the top of the Seagulls backline.

Teddy Jenks’s effort drew George Wickens into a smart stop, before Albion took the lead just after the half hour mark.

Sam Packham delivered a cross from the right-hand side, which captain Cashman nodded home to put the away side ahead going into half-time.

The Seagulls doubled their lead nine minutes after the restart courtesy of Tolaj, who headed home from a corner after Albion had countered at speed and forced the set-play.

Stefan Vukoje could have added a third to add gloss to the scoreline in the capital, but he dragged his shot wide of the post as the game came to a close.
