Important Information Ahead Of Emirates Visit

By James Hilsum • 03 May 2019

Brighton & Hove Albion fans heading to the Emirates for Sunday’s Premier League match are advised of some useful information ahead of their trip to north London.

TRAVEL

Due to the game taking place over a Bank Holiday weekend, there are works taking place on the Underground, but none have been planned on either the Piccadilly or Victoria lines which serve the main stations around the Emirates.

Click here to view Arsenal’s ‘Get to Emirates Stadium page on their website, which provides full information on the many ways to get here plus further links to useful sites such as the Transport for London journey planner.

This also provides a link to the form for booking coach spaces.

Fans are also advised to check the Transport for London twitter account @Tfl and their website for transport updates. Those travelling by National Rail services should check www.nationalrail.co.uk.

Arsenal strongly discourage any supporters from driving to the Emirates Stadium, as the ground is situated in a mainly residential area with an extensive Event Day Parking Scheme in operation.

Only cars displaying resident’s permits will be able to park in the designated areas, and any other vehicles parked illegally will be towed away.

SECURITY

Security at Emirates Stadium is at a high level, so fans are encouraged to arrive at the ground as early as possible. There will be full searches and ticket inspections in operation before before entry, and the turnstiles will open 90 minutes before kick-off to allow plenty of time for access.

Those fans attending the game are also advised of Arsenal’s list of banned items from the ground, which can be viewed here.
