Fans are advised of the following important travel information ahead of the England Women v New Zealand Women international fixture on Saturday 1st June, kick-off 1pm.
The club is advising fans that the usual matchday travel scheme will not be in operation for this game, so anyone traveling by bus or train must purchase a ticket to travel from the relevant operator.
All supporters are asked to head to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.
Park & Ride: We are now operating a park & ride service from Brighton Racecourse – (BN2 9XZ) that will be in operation from 10am onwards. This service is available for supporters to pre-purchase at £5 per vehicle from the club’s ticket website.
Trains: Southern Rail have informed the club that they will be operating an enhanced service for this match, and supporters are advised to check with Southern’s website prior to travelling.
Parking: The Bridge (Car Park B) and Sussex University (Car Park C), has now completely sold out, and we advise supporters to use the park and ride facility at Brighton Racecourse (details listed above).
All vehicles accredited to park at the University of Sussex must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.
The University of Sussex car park (Car Park C) is a short walk through the underpass to the stadium.
There is no local street parking available for football supporters, as all areas close to the Amex have a residents’ parking scheme in operation, and enforcement officers will be on patrol.
Village Way will be extremely busy and congested, and supporters are advised to avoid this area both pre and post-match, unless they have pre-booked parking.
Buses: Brighton & Hove Buses will be operating a full Saturday service.
Seagull Travel: Seagull Travel will be running services from various locations, and spaces are available to pre-book via their website.
Drop-offs & Pick-ups: There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, or at the Woollard Way (entrance to the Bridge car park), and supporters are advised to use the official drop off and pick up point located at University of Sussex, which is car park 5, located by the Sports Hall. This drop-off/pick-up point is a short walk through the underpass to the Amex Stadium. There is also a free shuttle bus in operation.
