Pre-match Brief: England V New Zealand

By Jake Ketley • 31 May 2019

Phil Neville’s England team take on New Zealand at the Amex tomorrow in their final match before heading out to the Women’s World Cup, kick-off 1pm.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the game.

Limited tickets remain on sale for England's final match in the ‘Road to France’ series against New Zealand at Brighton's Amex Stadium on Saturday.

With all of the available sections virtually at capacity, there are only a restricted number of seats available online.

Supporters are strongly advised not to turn up at the stadium without already having purchased a ticket in advance.

The ticket office will open from 9am until half-time. The ticket office will be closed during the second half and after the game.

The club is advising fans that the usual matchday travel scheme in place for Brighton & Hove Albion home fixtures will not be in operation for this game, so anyone traveling by bus or train must purchase a ticket to travel from the relevant operator.

All supporters are asked to head to the stadium as early as possible regardless of how they are travelling.

Park & Ride: We are now operating a park & ride service from Brighton Racecourse – (BN2 9XZ) that will be in operation from 10am onwards. This service is available for supporters to pre-purchase at £5 per vehicle from the club’s ticket website

Trains: Southern Rail have informed the club that they will be operating an enhanced service for this match, and supporters are advised to check with Southern’s website prior to travelling.

Parking: The Bridge (Car Park B) and Sussex University (Car Park C), has now completely sold out, and we advise supporters to use the park and ride facility at Brighton Racecourse (details listed above).

All vehicles accredited to park at the University of Sussex must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate.

The University of Sussex car park (Car Park C) is a short walk through the underpass to the stadium.

There is no local street parking available for football supporters, as all areas close to the stadium have a residents’ parking scheme in operation, and enforcement officers will be on patrol.

The main entrance to the stadium along Village Way will be extremely busy and congested, and supporters are advised to avoid this area both pre and post-match, unless they have pre-booked parking.

Buses: Brighton & Hove Buses will be operating a full Saturday service.

Seagull Travel: Seagull Travel will be running services from various locations, and spaces are available to pre-book via their website.

Drop-offs & Pick-ups: There will be no pick-ups or drop-offs along Village Way, or at the Woollard Way (entrance to the Bridge car park), and supporters are advised to use the official drop off and pick up point located at University of Sussex, which is car park 5, located by the Sports Hall. This drop-off/pick-up point is a short walk through the underpass to the Amex Stadium. There is also a free shuttle bus in operation.

The club also wish to remind all supporters attending the match that bottles with tops on them are prohibited at the Amex Stadium.

This is in place to ensure spectator safety as well as that of players, staff and match officials and we appreciate that the vast majority of fans will be happy to oblige with the stadium rules and regulations.

For fans bringing their own water in to the Amex, we would permit clear plastic bottles with a capacity of less than 500ml, subject to the removal and disposal of bottle tops prior to entry. Our stewards will be strictly enforcing this policy, and bottle tops will also be removed from drinks sold inside the stadium.

Finally, we also want to make supporters who are attending aware that stadium rules also prohibit flasks being brought into the Amex, along with the concealment of bottle tops for use later.

The full list of prohibited items can be found here.

The Club Superstore will be open from 9am and will close at 5pm after the game. The shop is also closed during the match.

All concourses will open at 11.30am and will close at 3.45pm post-match.

The Fanzone and food outlets will be open from 10am. The outside bar will close at 12.15pm.

The club superstore will be open before and after the match, with the shop closing between 1pm and 2pm. If supporters are looking to visit the store only, please be advised that no parking will be available for supporters. If you need to visit the store on Saturday, please use public transport.
