Justin Edinburgh

By Tim Dudding • 09 June 2019

Brighton & Hove Albion is deeply saddened by the news that Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh has passed away at the age of 49.

As a player, Edinburgh played over 200 times for Tottenham Hotspur, lifting the FA Cup and League Cup during his time at White Hart Lane.

After hanging up his boots, Edinburgh went into management and had spells with Northampton Town, Gillingham and Newport County – whom he steered to a shock League Cup victory over Albion at the Amex in 2013.

Last season he guided Orient to promotion back into League Two after the club had spent two years in the National League.

We would like to send our sympathies to his family, friends and our colleagues at Leyton Orient Football Club.
