Chailey Heritage Holding Bucket Collection On Saturday

19 January 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion’s charity partner Chailey Heritage Foundation will be raising funds pre-match with a bucket collection ahead of Saturday’s game against Chelsea.

Alternatively, fans can make a donation by texting GOAL18 £3 to 70070 or online via www.chf.org.uk. The charity also has a signed Albion shirt and football being auctioned via www.chf.org.uk/seagulls.

There will also be the opportunity for fans to try wheelchair football in the Fanzone, competing against Chailey staff to try and score as many goals as possible.

Helen Hewitt, Chailey Heritage chief executive said, “We are thrilled to have the club’s support behind us at this very exciting time for both us as a charity and the club. We are only able to go the extra mile for the young people in our care because of the generous support we receive from the public.”

"So if you’re at Saturday’s match, look out for our charity’s volunteers with their purple buckets and please give generously to support our work transforming the lives of disabled young people.”

Although the charity started out as a school in 1903, it now supports hundreds of children, young people and their families, by providing a range of world-class services, especially catering for those with a neurological motor impairment, such as cerebral palsy. Today it has a national reputation for its work around communication and developing independence through powered mobility.
