A Guide To Culver Road

By James Hilsum • 02 February 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion take on Manchester City in an SSE Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie this Sunday, and with a large number of tickets sold, Culver Road is expected to be busy in the lead up to kick-off.

Due to no parking facilities being available at the stadium in Lancing, we recommend that supporters use public transport where possible, with Lancing station less than 400 metres from Culver Road.

Where is it and how do I get there? It's off the high street in Lancing, and has great access via public transport. Lancing train station is about a five minute walk away. The high street and seafront is well served by Stagecoach Buses from both Brighton and Worthing.

What about driving? There will be no parking available at the stadium at Culver Road so fans coming are encouraged to try and use public transport where possible.

If you do have to drive, please respect the local residents and park safely and legally. There are alternate car parks (located just one minute's walk away) on North Farm Road and Queensway, as well as street parking along North Road and close by to Lancing Station or Asda. Parking is strictly forbidden on Culver Road itself and cars may be removed.

Can I ride my bike? You may wish to cycle, and there is a secure bicycle area where supporters can safely park their bicycles.

What is the ground like? Culver Road has recently been refurbished and boasts a nice seated area. Seats are free to use, or spectators may choose to stand on the three open terraces behind the goals, and on the opposite side of the pitch.

Can I get food and drink? Yes, there is a large indoor bar area, which also has a big screen showing live matches, plus there is a hot food and drink kiosk serving burgers, hot dogs and typical football fare.

How much is it to get in?
