Vote For Your Albion Fan Of The Season

By Alex Stedman • 26 February 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion supporters have until midnight on Tuesday to enter their nominations for the 2017/18 James Brynin Fan of the Season Award.

Preparations for the annual Players’ Awards Dinner, in partnership with American Express, are underway and we are looking for your suggestions for this year’s stand-out Albion supporter.

The award is named after L/Cpl James Brynin, who lost his life while on military service in Afghanistan in 2013, and recognises a Seagulls fan who has gone above and beyond in their support of the club.

Last year’s trophy was collected by Andrew Lock, who held his family together in the aftermath of his father’s tragic death, while other previous winners include Graham Wood, Sarah Watts and Dave Hylands.

Supporters simply need to e-mail media@bhafc.co.uk with their nominations along with an explanation of why their choice is deserving of the award. The closing date for nominations is midnight on Tuesday 27th February.

Other awards at the gala dinner will include: Player of the Season, Goal of the Season, Women’s Player of the Season, the Albion in the Community Award, the Sarah Watts Inspiration Award, and, for the first time, the Players’ Player Award.
