Spurs Game Moved For Live Television Coverage

By Kieran Cleeves • 27 February 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion’s Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur has been moved to Friday 20th April for live television coverage, subject to Emirates FA Cup semi-final participation.

The match at the Amex Stadium has been brought forward from the original date - Saturday 21st April - and will now kick-off at 8pm, with the game being shown live on Sky Sports.

However, both teams remain in the FA Cup and should either side reach the final four of the competition, another date for the fixture will then be arranged.

The Seagulls visit Manchester United in the quarter-finals next month, while Spurs still need to progress past Rochdale on Wednesday evening, to set up a final-eight tie against either Swansea City or Sheffield Wednesday.

A date for Albion’s postponed fixture against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium has yet to be confirmed, with an announcement expected on or around Monday 19th March.
