Fixture Focus: The Final Countdown

By Kieran Cleeves • 17 June 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion have seven matches after the March international break, and here’s who Chris Hughton’s side will come up against during next season’s Premier League run-in.

The Seagulls will return to action at the end of March with a home fixture against Southampton, before making their first visit to Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium the following weekend.

AFC Bournemouth will then arrive at the Amex Stadium on Saturday 13th April, as the fixtures begin to run out for the sides either fighting for survival or challenging towards the top end of the Premier League.

Hughton’s men visit Wolverhampton Wanderers seven days later, before playing their penultimate home game of the campaign against Newcastle United on the south coast on Saturday 27th April.

Albion's final away game of the season involves a trip to the Emirates Stadium, as Hughton’s side look improve on their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, which came on their first-ever visit to the Gunners’ stadium last season.

A reverse of last season’s schedule sees Manchester City arrive at the Amex for the final game of the campaign - almost two years after their visit for Albion’s debut match in the Premier League, which ended in a 2-0 win for Pep Guardiola’s side.
