Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Chloe Peplow has been named in the squad for the upcoming FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup Finals in France.

The 20-year-old has met up with the rest of Mo Marley’s 21-player squad, ahead of England’s first match against North Korea on Sunday 5th August, kick-off 3.30pm.

The Three Lions will also face Brazil and Mexico in the group stages of the 16-team tournament, and the top two countries in each group will advance to the quarter finals.

The competition will conclude with the final on Friday 24th August, kick-off 6.30pm.

Women’s first-team coach Hope Powell said, “We are absolutely delighted that Chloe has been selected for the tournament. She has worked really hard since joining Brighton, and I'm pleased to see her hard work pay off.

“She has made good progression at youth-team level for England, and thoroughly deserves this call-up.
