Maguire-drew Joins Wrexham On Loan

By James Hilsum • 01 August 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion under-23 striker Jordan Maguire-Drew has joined
Wrexham on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old will now link up Sam Ricketts’s side ahead of the 2018/19 National League season.

Under-23 coach Simon Rusk said, “This move will allow Jordan to gain regular first-team football once again, and I am sure he will learn plenty from this experience.

“We will monitor him closely and wish him all the very best for the season ahead.”

This will be Maguire-Drew’s fourth loan move, following previous spells at Dagenham & Redbridge, Lincoln City and Coventry City.

The forward was also part of the Sky Blues squad that won the League Two play-off Final against Exeter City, as Mark Robins’s side recorded a 3-1 victory at Wembley in May.
