Brighton & Hove Albion will face Southampton in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The Seagulls will host the Saints at the Amex Stadium during the week commencing 27th August after the south section of the draw was made on Thursday evening.
Chris Hughton's side will then have their first Premier League meeting of the campaign with their fellow south coast side on Monday 17th September (8pm) at St Mary's Stadium.
