Aaron Connolly struck in second-half stoppage time to cancel out Reiss Nelson's opener for the Gunners, on a night where the Seagulls deserved at least a point.
First-team players Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Beram Kayal, Jason Steele and Jurgen Locadia all featured for Simon Rusk's side in north London.
