Women's Pre-match Brief: Albion V Reading

By Jake Ketley • 17 November 2018

Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Reading to the Broadfield Stadium for this weekend’s FA Women's Super League encounter, kick-off 2pm.

Hope Powell's side are back in action after a three-week break and will be looking to build on the form that saw them defeat Yeovil Town in their previous match.

Those looking to travel via car should note that there is a car park at the stadium, which is free, although spaces are very limited and only available on a first-come-first-served basis.

There are other free parking options available, such as the William Reed car park, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the stadium on Brighton Road. These are signposted as you approach the stadium.

To view other travel options to the match, please see the club’s travel guide at

The turnstiles will open at 1pm on Sunday, with matchday programmes sold inside the ground for just £2 each.

Before entering the stadium find one of our members of staff to pick up your free flag as you head through the turnstile, where we will have a photo booth, face painting, and other fun activities for you to enjoy.

Fans should also note that Redz Bar will be closed for this match.

Tickets are available on the gate for this fixture, with adult entry priced at £10, under-21s/over-65s tickets at £8, under-18s at £7 and under-10s at £4.

Please note that tickets are available on a cash only basis.

Fliss Gibbons is the cover star for this Sunday’s matchday magazine. The defender speaks about her transition to left back and the togetherness within the squad.

Midfielder Jodie Brett reflects on the team’s first league win of the season against Yeovil Town last time out, while defender Laura Rafferty talks about her defensive partnership with summer recruit Victoria Williams.

Also included is a pull-out poster, featuring a member of the Albion women’s first-team squad!

Purchase your copy on the turnstiles, priced at £2.
