Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Maty Ryan insists he is loving life on the south coast of England, and that his decision to join the club was the best of his career.
Australian international Ryan signed for Albion from Valencia last summer, having been tracked by Albion’s goalkeeping coach Ben Roberts.
He said, “Looking back, I don’t think I could have made a better decision at that time of my career. I’ve been loving and thriving off every second of it to be honest.
“When you come to a club in this league, with the facilities and history that it has, how can you not enjoy being a footballer in an environment like this?
“It’s an absolute pleasure to represent the club, area and fans in the Premier League. I’m loving every minute of it and trying to do my best to contribute towards more success for the club.”
Recently, Ryan in an interview with The Players’ Voice website, also said, “I’m a completely different goalkeeper now to the one who arrived from Valencia last season.”
