Gallery: Training in the north west
The squad remained in the north west between the Carabao Cup and Premier League matches against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Players trained at the Peninsula Stadium, home of Salford City in the build up to the second match on Saturday afternoon, and club photographer Paul Hazlewood was at the stadium to capture some images from the sessions.
