Albion WU19s defeated Arsenal in the PGA League on Wednesday, coming from two goals down to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory.
Arsenal took the lead after 28 minutes and doubled their advantage early in the second half. Albion continued to push and were rewarded when Rhianna Fowler pulled a goal back with a powerful header.
Patience Fergus equalised in the 86th minute with a shot from inside the box following a well executed corner routine by Albion.
The hosts were awarded a free-kick at the very end and Isabella Ranger was in the right place at the right time to seal a thrilling comeback win.

Head coach Dani Bowman said, “I am really pleased and proud of the group. The effort from the girls from the get-go was superb. To come from 2-0 down and win is a real credit to the team.
“The squad are really happy, but we need to look at the two goals conceded and how they could have been prevented.
“The girls showed great character and pushed until the very end. It was great to score from set pieces as we have focused on that area in training and worked hard to improve them.”

“Isabella (Ranger) got the winner, which was brilliant, and Isobel (Kandak) assisted the first goal. I’m really happy for them. The players’ reaction to the winner and how they celebrated together says everything about the group.
“We face Arsenal again in the semi-final of the PGA Cup in two weeks, so the squad will need to be ready for that.
“We are still at a development age and always looking at how we can improve as a group and as individuals. The wins are brilliant, but the semi-final will be a completely different challenge," added Bowman.
