Our women’s under-19s take on Manchester United for their final away league game of 2025 on Wednesday.
Having beaten Bristol City 4-2 last week, head coach Dani Bowman is keen to finish the year on a high.
She said, “It was a great result last week against Bristol City, every game gives us an opportunity to learn and better ourselves for the next fixture. We have had a good week of training, so hopefully the team can build on last week’s performance.
“Today’s game will be a tough test for the squad, our first opportunity to play a northern team which poses a different challenge. I know the group are looking forward to the chance to play a top team.
“They're going to be very physical, athletic and have good technical players. We will need to be at our best to win.
“Every game is a chance for the girls to develop and playing Manchester United will be another great challenge for this group.”
